On the morning of September 10, 2019, on the occasion of the 35th teachers' day, the theme creation exhibition of Chinese spirit, Chinese dream, the third socialist core values calligraphy works was opened in the Museum of Renmin University of China. He Yaomin, vice president of Renmin University of China, Zheng Xiaohua, deputy secretary and secretary-general of the Party group of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, Guo Ximin, executive deputy secretary-general of the Chinese literature and art foundation, Zhang Xiaoyu, member of the Party group of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, and more than 200 people, including teachers and students of the National People's Congress, calligraphy lovers and media reporters, attended the opening ceremony.

 

This exhibition is jointly sponsored by China Federation of literary and art circles, China Calligrapher Association, Renmin University of China, Hainan Federation of literary and art circles, Guizhou Federation of literary and art circles and China Book Association Industry Construction Committee. More than 100 excellent calligraphic works of more than 90 backbone calligraphers at the grass-roots level were exhibited on site. These works revolve around the 24 character theme of socialist core values, and select famous sentences in Chinese excellent traditional classics to create; each work is accompanied by expert interpretation. I hope that through the combination of profound ideological content and beautiful calligraphy art form, we can use aesthetics to promote the transmission of ideas, promote the wide spread of socialist core values, and display the spirit of calligraphy artists in the new era of socialism.

 

 

 

He Yaomin, vice president of Renmin University of China, said in his speech that it is of great significance to hold a thematic exhibition of calligraphy works of socialist core values, which combines Chinese excellent traditional culture with socialist core values, and displays the charm of Chinese excellent traditional culture through calligraphy art. Renmin University of China attaches great importance to the unique and important role of art education in moral education. It focuses on leading students to establish correct aesthetic concepts, cultivate noble moral sentiments, and cultivate profound national feelings. At the same time, the Chinese Calligraphy Association and the people's University of China jointly held this exhibition, which is also to promote the traditional Chinese calligraphy art into the campus and contribute to the inheritance and promotion of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. As a banner in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, Renmin University of China has a profound academic background, which is fully reflected in the exhibition planning and enhances the exhibition.

 

 

 

Guo Ximin, Executive Deputy Secretary General of China literature and art foundation, donated calligraphy works collection to teachers and students of the National People's Congress on behalf of the organizer of the event.

 

 

 

At the opening ceremony, he Yaomin, vice president of Renmin University of China, and Zhang Xiaoyu, member of the Party group of China Book Association, signed cooperation framework agreements on behalf of their respective units. In line with the principle of public welfare and free of charge, the University and the association will give full play to their respective advantages and carry out a number of cooperation in jointly holding high-level calligraphy exhibitions, conducting high-end academic discussions, promoting calligraphy publicity and communication.
